HOW IT STARTED
Big Scale RC Trucks started in Youngstown, Ohio in 2016. Alberto Pérez, a career truck driver with more than 20 years of experience, combined his background in real trucks with years of RC hobby experience building large-scale planes and fast RC race cars.
The first model was a handmade Peterbilt 379-inspired truck. It began with a cardboard body mold and later developed into a wood-built body on a working chassis, powered by a scooter motor and controlled with a motor driver. It was built by hand, piece by piece, as a personal project and as a challenge to see if something that large could actually work by remote control.
What started as a personal project became the beginning of Big Scale RC Trucks.

Founder, Owner, and Lead Builder
Alberto leads the hands-on building, fabrication, body construction, mechanical work, chassis setup, steering, drive systems, wiring, electronics, testing, repairs, custom modifications, and problem-solving behind each truck.
abdiel perez
Operations, Marketing, and Build Support
Abdiel handles quotes, emails, orders, design presentations, part sourcing, 3D printing, marketing, website work, customer communication, and helps with builds.

Every truck is built one piece at a time. From cutting and shaping the body panels to assembling the chassis, wiring the electronics, and testing each function, every build goes through a hands-on process before it becomes a finished custom RC truck.
The goal is to build something that looks good, works reliably, and fits the customer’s idea. Whether it is made for events, displays, parades, or promotional use, every truck is built to be functional, strong, and unique.
BUILT AROUND YOUR IDEA
No two builds are exactly the same. Each truck starts with an idea, then we work through the size, body style, features, electronics, and final use so the finished model matches what the customer needs.
Some builds are made for events and displays, while others are built for company branding, parades, expos, or one-of-a-kind projects. From simple driving models to trucks with lights, sound, actuators, TVs, or working features, every build is planned around the purpose it needs to serve.

CUSTOM FEATURES
Each build can include custom options such as lighting, sound, working parts, displays, actuators, electronics, branding, and other functional features. We work through the details of each project to match the truck to its purpose and use.
WORLDWIDE SHIPPING
We are based in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, but our custom builds can be shipped to customers almost anywhere. Once a truck is completed, we can help coordinate crating, freight, and delivery options based on the size of the build and final destination.
