This custom 1/3-scale step van was built for Rosco as a fully functional trade-show display vehicle, designed to give their team a realistic platform for showcasing vehicle technology at expos, demonstrations, and company events.

The van was finished in white with custom Rosco branding and detailed exterior features including side and rear door designs, hinges, latches, mirrors, grille, bumpers, lighting, visor, wheel details, and blacked-out window treatments.

The truck is fully remote controlled, with independent drive and steering systems powered by a 24V electrical setup. Two 12V 35Ah deep-cycle batteries power the vehicle, while a separate 12V accessory system supplies the lighting, horn, and additional electronics.

One of the main goals of the build was keeping the electrical system simple and accessible for Rosco’s own equipment. Dedicated 12V power distribution and clearly labeled wiring allowed their team to install and power additional demonstration hardware without interfering with the drive system.

The finished step van measures approximately 73" long × 22" wide × 30" tall, providing a large visual presence while still being practical for transportation, trade-show use, and indoor demonstrations.

This project is a good example of how our step vans can be customized not only in appearance, but also around the specific equipment, branding, and demonstration requirements of a company.
